Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for using the Cadlyx platform. Incorporated into the Terms of Service.

Effective:

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") applies to all use of the Cadlyx platform. Violations may result in suspension or termination as described in the Terms of Service.

Prohibited uses

Customer, Users, and anyone acting on Customer's behalf must not use the Service for, or in connection with, any of the activities listed below. The lists in this AUP are non-exhaustive — Cadlyx may treat conduct of similar nature as a violation even if not listed.

Security and integrity

  • Attempting to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access
  • Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Service without written authorization
  • Circumventing rate limits, authentication, or access controls
  • Distributing malware, ransomware, or any other malicious code
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service except as expressly permitted by law

Content and conduct

  • Uploading content you do not have the right to upload (including third-party intellectual property without license)
  • Uploading CUI, ITAR-controlled, EAR-controlled, or other export-restricted content unless Cadlyx has confirmed in writing that your organization has an authorized environment for that data
  • Using the Service to harass, threaten, defame, or harm others
  • Using the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages or commercial communications
  • Using the Service for activities that are illegal in the jurisdictions where you or your customers operate

Service usage

  • Using the Service in a way that imposes a disproportionate load relative to your subscription tier
  • Reselling or sublicensing the Service without a written agreement
  • Sharing account credentials across users or organizations not covered by your subscription
  • Scraping or automated extraction of data from the Service except via documented APIs

Reporting violations

Report suspected violations to [email protected].

Enforcement

Cadlyx may investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. If Customer (a) has an outstanding, undisputed balance on its account for more than 30 days, (b) violates this AUP, or (c) uses the Service in violation of the Terms of Service or in a way that materially and negatively impacts the Service or other users, Cadlyx may temporarily suspend Customer's access to the Service with or without notice. Cadlyx will try to inform Customer before suspending the account when practical and will reinstate access only if Customer resolves the underlying issue.

Cadlyx may, in its sole discretion, terminate Customer's account for material or repeated violations of this AUP under Section 10 (Term and Termination) of the Terms of Service. Cadlyx may cooperate with law enforcement and respond to lawful requests for information when reasonably necessary to investigate or prevent suspected illegal activity, harm to others, or breach of this AUP.

Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account administrators by email.
